Childrens Days Out – London – GO APE in Bracknell

11 Feb

It was bitterly cold when the childrens day out at GoApe took place in the middle of January. Thankfully that didn’t deter my party of 12 children aged between  10 and 16.   They thoroughly enjoyed the rope bridges, tarzan swings, sliding down sip lines.

Childrens Days Out – London

For those that have no knowledge of Go Ape it’s an adventure course for children and adults.  They have a number of venues usually in forests than are ideal for childrens days out. Catering for most age ranges but it’s particularly suited to energetic kids aged 10 years and above.

You’ll find it usually takes about 3 hours to get around the course.  The kids will be equipped with safety helmets and support harnesses  and guided round the course by patient instructors. You find a number of companies send their employees on team building days so it will probably give you some indication that these courses are not just for children and considered challenging for people of all ages.

When we’d finished out circuit of the course we all took some time to eat a picnic in the beautiful surroundings whilst the kids regailed us of tails of the heroism!
